Please see below what we do, what items are required, also a video of aid arriving in Greece and our photo gallery, from our last few visits to the refugee camps across Europe and get a closer look at how we're gathering support from our local communities to connect with those less fortunate, and often in dire circumstances - offering a drop of care, an ocean of change.
Men’s clothing, Women’s clothing, (especially Women’s leggings), Children and Babies clothing, New underwear and socks, (NB we accept used Women’s bras)
Toiletries – shampoo, shower gel, soap, toothpaste, deodorant,
sanitary pads (not tampons), nappies, wipes, hand sanitisers,
towels, blankets, tents, Moses baskets.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following :- Pyjamas, Nightwear, Dressing gowns, Duvets, Pillows, Toys,
We are in regular contact with organisations working in those countries who are trying to support refugees. These organisations will contact us and give us a needs list to let us know the items they require. We then try our best to send over these items. It is not practical to just send everything we have collected as they have storage issues. So, we just send over what they need at any given time. This can change on a regular basis depending on what they receive from other sources. This works really well, as the aid needed can be distributed quickly and the turnover of aid is more efficient and not just stored in a warehouse.
